Amethyst is the February birthstone, a type of quartz gemstone is said to have calming, balancing, and peaceful properties. Known as the sobriety stone, "Amethystus" is actually the Greek word for drunken or intoxicated.
Labradorite is considered to be a protection stone. It’s Inuit lore is that it is pieces of trapped aurora borealis. It is said that if you are drawn to labradorite than you are a descendent of the people of Atlantis too! Neat!
Simple for everyday and special enough for a day you want to make special! I sourced these stones from a local Indiana shop. All metals are sourced in the USA and are lead and nickel free. Necklaces are wrapped with a cold closure, no jump rings are used.
I make all my jewelry in my home studio, in an 1890's farmhouse in the Indiana countryside. Every piece is special and one of a kind, as is the nature of the minerals I work with. All metals are sourced in the USA and are lead and nickel free.
Each item has its own unique images, unless the quantity is more than one, the gemstones you see in the photo will be the one you receive. All items are ready to ship unless a different length or metal type is requested.
